Together, We Support

Every Brain and Every Family

Why give?

NestEd Center for Development is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making high-quality, specialized services accessible to all families. Our mission is to support children with trauma, neurodivergence, and disabilities by providing evaluations, consultations, and training grounded in evidence-based practices.

As a nonprofit, we are committed to removing barriers to care through sliding scale fees, scholarships, and community-driven programs. Every dollar we receive is reinvested into expanding our reach, improving our services, and creating a brighter future where every brain matters, and every family is supported.

Your support makes this mission possible. Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive community.

  • Many families face long wait times—up to 4 years—for autism evaluations and support. NestEd steps in to provide timely, high-quality services to address their needs now.

  • The achievement gap often stems from misunderstood and unsupported needs of children dysregulated by trauma or neurodivergence. Your support helps bridge this gap by ensuring these children receive the care and strategies they need to succeed.

  • Families often struggle to navigate systems where professionals speak different “languages” and lose focus on the child’s needs. NestEd creates a shared framework for collaboration, keeping children’s development and well-being at the center.

Parent Perspective

“The confirmation of his diagnoses, specifically knowing that the things we suspected were correct, was invaluable. But it was more than that. This process gave us:

  • Renewed hope and understanding of opportunities we never thought of, like the idea that a kid who hasn’t finished 9th grade might thrive by switching to community college.

  • A deeper understanding of how his brain works—why he excels at some things and struggles with others—and even insights into our own brains.

  • A new perspective on our family dynamics, and the push we needed to address them together.

  • Finally, the feeling of support—that we haven’t failed as parents—and the incredible value of having an advocate in the room with the school. I wish we had done this 10+ years ago!”

School Psychologist Perspective (Thrive Membership)

“The relationship was the first thing. You met me where I was, listened, and then asked me what I thought should change to solve it.

That made me think through solutions instead of focusing on just the problem, which is what I easily go to until I have time to talk myself through it later. You treated me as a human and still do—not like I’m lower than you. You collaborate and don’t just give answers. You also give me the why behind your thoughts, which is something I personally appreciate.”
